Getting started

GetIndexed is MIT-licensed software you can self-host with Docker and PostgreSQL, or use as paid hosting on Cloudflare Workers. Self-hosting is free and needs no payment account.

Connect your search engines in the dashboard

Open Integrations in the sidebar to find your engine connections.

  1. Google: connect Search Console in Settings and select the verified property for your site.
  2. Bing: open Bing setup, save your account API key, then choose a site. Load its verified properties, link the matching property, and run Sync Bing.
  3. IndexNow: open your site's Indexing page and configure the hosted verification key before sending notifications.

A saved key is not a verified connection. Check access before syncing or submitting URLs.

Self-hosting and command line setup

  1. pnpm install and copy .env.example to .env.
  2. pnpm exec tsx src/cli/index.ts init --email you@example.com --password … (or indexrush init after build)
  3. Host your IndexNow key file at the root of each domain.
  4. pnpm exec tsx src/cli/index.ts doctor; fix anything red before live submissions.
  5. Use --dry-run on submit and sync until credentials are ready.
  6. pnpm exec tsx src/cli/index.ts serve --dev for dashboard + daily autopilot cron.
